Effective date: October 24, 2026
Welcome! These terms explain the ground rules for using newslettersmadesimple.co. The site is run by Kate Huff Enterprises LLC, doing business as Newsletters Made Simple. When I say “I,” “me,” or “my,” that’s me. When I say “you,” that’s you, the visitor.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Using this site
You’re welcome to read, browse, sign up for my newsletter, book a call, and share links to my pages. Please don’t:
- use the site for anything illegal or harmful
- try to hack, overload, or interfere with the site or its security
- copy or scrape the site’s content in bulk
- pretend to be someone else when you contact me or sign up
My content
The words, images, logos, the Healthy Email Checklist, my newsletters, and my blog posts (including the ones I write for The Write Conversation) are my work and are protected by copyright and other laws. Unless something says otherwise, they belong to me or are used with permission.
You’re welcome to use my free resources, like the checklist, for your own newsletter. Please don’t resell them, republish them as your own, or share them in bulk without asking me first. Quoting a short bit with credit and a link back is always fine.
The Newsletters Made Simple name and logo are mine, too. Please don’t use them in a way that suggests I endorse you or your business without my permission.
Information, not guarantees
Everything on this site is shared for general information and education. I share what I’ve learned from years of working with newsletters, but every list, audience, and business is different.
I can’t promise specific results, such as a certain number of subscribers, open rates, inbox placement, book sales, donations, or revenue. Testimonials on this site are real experiences from real clients, but they aren’t a guarantee that you’ll get the same results. Email platforms, inbox providers, and the rules they follow can change at any time, and they’re outside my control.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or tax advice.
Working with me
The package descriptions on this site, including the Newsletter Health Check + Video Walkthrough, Monthly Newsletter Management, Full Newsletter Build Out, and Coaching, are an overview of how I can help. They aren’t a binding offer.
When we decide to work together, the exact scope, timeline, payment terms, and other details will be set out in a separate agreement or proposal at booking. If anything in that agreement is different from these terms, the agreement wins for those services.
Booking a free discovery call doesn’t commit either of us to working together.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as MailerLite for signups and bookings, The Write Conversation blog, my clients’ websites, and The Wandering Words. I share them because I think they’re helpful, but I don’t control them and I’m not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Using them is up to you, under their own terms.
Limitation of liability
I work hard to keep this site accurate and running smoothly, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available.” I can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that come from using this site or relying on its content, including lost profits, lost data, or deliverability problems. If I’m ever found liable for something related to your use of this site, my total liability is limited to the amount, if any, you paid me to use the site itself. (The site is free to use.) Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Privacy
How I handle your information is explained in my Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or this site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I’ll change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
